Vivica Fox, host of the hit reality series, ‘The Cougar,’ has announced she is engaged to Omar “Slim” White. Although there’s a huge difference when it comes to their age, Ms. Fox, 46, and Mr. White, 27, it looks like it doesn’t matter. The couple has been dating for 12 months and reports say that 27-year-old concert promoter asked for Fox’s hand in marriage the day after Christmas with an eight-karat diamond while the two were staying at the Ritz Carlton in Miami Beach.

The View’s co-host Sherri Shepherd has announced to marry TV writer Lamar Sally. Just like Slim White, Sally popped the question to Shepherd on the 26th. There was a statement posted on the show’s official site:

“Upon arriving back to Lamar’s home in Los Angeles from a trip to San Diego, Sherri was surprised to find their accommodations had been decorated with lights by one of Sal’s best friends, her dog was wearing a Santa beard and hat, and, in the middle of a dish of Sherri’s favorite but forbidden M&M’s (she is diabetic), was a tiny little box,” the statement said.

Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger is said to be engaged as well but the Roethlisberger did not confirm this news. The name of the lady is Ashley Harlan. We don’t know who she is either.

“There’s always, always rumors out there about professional athletes, especially about me,” Roethlisberger said, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. “You guys know that I’m not going to talk about my personal life. My own singular focus right now is on the playoffs and trying to get to the Super Bowl.”
